Z WARD INVESTIGATION
On Sunday 25/1/15 I was fortunate enough to spend four hours inside the amazing Z Ward!
The first part of the night was a tour, conducted by the fabulous Alison from Adelaide's Haunted Horizon's Ghost Tours. She took us around, told us the history and about the paranormal phenomena that had taken place.
We were then all locked in individual cells. I was in cell 25 on the upper floor. It was lights out and quiet time, so I was standing, leaning against the wall, asking for someone to make contact. After a while I started to get restless, so decided to turn my torch on to look around the cell. As soon as the beam of light came on, I saw a skeletal, black arm (up to the elbow) right in front of my body, reaching for me. It was as clear as if someone was standing right in front of me, reaching out to touch me. I was obviously startled, I jumped back and it was gone.
After the tour had left, and it was just four of us left, I went back into cell 25 with a ghost box.
I was told that there was a woman with me, and also a man named Nick. I was getting other small responses, when suddenly I got "The devil is here" - and I fled. I'm a brave soul, but don't put that kind of pressure on me, lol.
We then spent time in several other cells, and just spread out along the floors. At one point, I was in cell 2 downstairs with another investigator. The other two investigators were upstairs. Meg and I could hear their low conversation, and could discern their voices, without hearing what they were actually saying. After a while we noticed a third voice. It was a male voice, but higher in pitch to the male with us. It was having quite the conversation, and if we didn't know better, we would've thought there was a fifth person in the ward with us - but no, just us. It went on for about two minutes before stopping and not starting up again.
Sadly they will be closing the doors to Z Ward this weekend and turning it into an office building. I am so privileged to have visited it when I did.
