some wonderful people who have their own unique talents and goals for APPI!
She also has an amazing slew of APPI volunteers, ready at her beck and call to assist

Peta (Peet) Banks - Owner
Peet has always been a little different. She remembers being told by her parents how she used to scare them as a child, with her ability to know when the phone was going to ring and who it would be, and when a visitor was going to spontaneously drop in.
As a teenager and adult she was always fascinated with the paranormal, and finally decided to take the plunge and explore this world. Peet is naturally logical, which can sometimes be interpreted as skeptical - not that there's anything wrong with a bit of skepticism in this industry!
By day Peet is a Project Coordinator with the NSW Government and a Justice of the Peace. She lives in 'the shire' with her partner, dog and cat.
Peet is the Event Organiser of the Oz Para Expo. This yearly Expo is very popular, and is normally held around September/October of each year.

Suzanne Eades - Core Team Paranormal Investigator
All her life, Suzanne has been fascinated by all things metaphysical and new-age, which has led her to obtain certificates in a range of topics from Dragonology and Lycanthropy to Numerology and Herbology.
Suzanne is a practising Pagan and has been on the administration boards of two successful web-site forums. She has regularly used Oiuja boards and Rune stones in communications and has just recently completed a Parapsychology Certificate Course.
In Suzanne's words:
"I love the dark the best and have no limitations on pushing myself into the unknown. I have had interest with the paranormal going as far back as I can remember but the first experience of being able to clairaudient was at an old church in my late teens. Since then I have added many experiences to my sheet ranging from voices and sensations to full apparitions. I have only just recently started delving into the paranormal investigation side of it and started it off with an overnight investigation with the wonderful APPI on the 27th March, 2013. I am an Engineer Draftsperson by trade but I am currently studying Mental Health, to which I hope to enter the youth/alcohol and drug sector."
Suzanne also runs Magikhappens Witch Parties. If you're interested in witchcraft, book yourself a party and you will learn everything you need to know!

Jonno Zhao - Core Team Paranormal Investigator
By day Jonno practices as an architect, however under the cover of darkness he is a paranormal investigator with a keen interest in history, creepy old buildings and all things Doctor Who.
He joined APPI on a ghost tour in 2013, and never really left. Becoming a core team member in 2017 Jonno brings a considered approach with his strong faith behind him.
Born and bred in Sydney, he's a local through and through and hopes to learn more about the city he loves through his research and investigation.

Lynda Watson - Core Team Paranormal Investigator
Lynda started in APPI by joining our tours. She came along to several tours and we began to get to know her.
Living in Canberra, it always came as a pleasant surprise to the team when she would show up. It showed her commitment to paranormal research, and her passion for ghost tours.
Lynda initially joined the team as a volunteer, and would come along when able to assist in our tours. Eventually her commitment and passion gave her the opportunity to become a full core team member, and it is very likely that you will see her on any upcoming tours that are held by APPI.
Lynda works in education and has a son who laughs at her 'spooky stuff'.

Darrin Langbien - Core Team Paranormal Investigator/Photographer
Daz is one of those people who never has a camera out of his hand.
Daz joined APPI on a ghost tour in January 2013, and so impressed Peet with his willingness to learn, assistance with anything we needed and rugged good looks (lol), that we just had to have him on the team!
Daz is our Paranormal Investigator slash photographer. He has an amazing sense of humour, and goes out of his way to involve himself in the group experiments - volunteering (or being volunteered for) many a task.
Daz lives in Hervey Bay with his wife and loves delving deeply into the science of the paranormal, whenever he comes down to Sydney to visit.
For more information on Daz's photography work you can check out his website here.

Jacqueline Vesey-Wells - Core Team Paranormal Investigator
Jax got roped into the paranormal whilst doing an assignment for university, and hasn’t stopped since then. After switching her major from arts to science and psychology, she’s now decided that the entire thing is too hard, she has a headache, and is having a cup of tea and going to bed.
She spends most of her free time trying to cook up paranormal theories and questioning the meaning of the universe in-between a full-time management job in IT, a side-hustle caring for animals part-time, and trying to publish her first book – whenever she decides which one to finish.
She also runs a rather neglected Paranormal Blog – The Ghost Writer – along with a YouTube channel that we will never speak of again... Jax is inextricably fascinated by anything, and will gladly talk your ear off about any number of topics she happens to be engaged in at any given time, ranging from Embalming to Dungeons and Dragons, Intersectional Feminism to Chinese Drama, Crossfit to World of Warcraft, or Hemetic Alchemy and Tarot Cards.
She lives with her ever-suffering husband, two cats, a spattering of antique books and a collection of bones, glass, feathers, dragonfly wings and whatever she manages to find at any of our locations. (No spirits yet, but she has informed us that she is taking applications for ‘House Ghost'; rent is $50 a week, dinner is at 7 and there is to be no loud bangs after bedtime.)

Andrew Roden - Core Team Paranormal Investigator
Andrew has been battling demons his whole life and being a level 99 Warlock on the latest computer game obviously meant he knew everything there was to know. Being coxed by a good friend (Jax) to come along to one of the many APPI events to meet the infamous Peet he was instantly amazed at this well run organised team….family….cult……. he has yet to determine what they are.
Obviously his experience from playing computer games he played things cool and quiet (shy) and bided his time learning the ropes and forming his own plans to conquer this paranormal theory.
Through his younger years, there was a fascination with auras and spirituality which later on changed to games and technology.
But upon getting into the paranormal field, the spiritual side has slowly come back into play.
He hopes through his technology and spiritual side he can somehow join the two together to progress the investigation field forward and new experiments will come to form.
Although quiet, Andrew is as loyal as they come and always open to conversation (if you start the conversation first).

Ethan Symonds - Core Team Paranormal Investigator
Ethan is relatively new to the field of Paranormal Investigation, but his passion and drive for all things spooky make him the perfect fit for APPI.
Ethan has always been fascinated by the dark, creepy things that go bump in the night. He is open to any new challenges and is always the first to raise his hand when it comes to walking into an allegedly haunted building.
Ethan has joined paranormal investigations all across Australia, and his thirst for the unknown has seen him travel around the world, seeking experiences, theories and knowledge in all different cultures.
He certainly hopes to bring new experiments to the table with APPI, and is full of ideas he wants to try with the rest of the team, and with the guests who join APPI on their public investigations.
