Fairfield City Museum & Gallery is reportedly an incredibly haunted location. Some of the paranormal activity known to be happening are Voices being heard, doors opening and closing, footsteps being heard, and incorporeal forms setting off shadow detectors.
The main building on the property was opened as Fairfield’s first council chambers in 1913. Following that it became the family home of local business man James Leslie Morris – who died on the property in mysterious circumstances.
Other buildings on the property include the Victoria Street School, a slab hut, Caversham Cottage, and a few other different reconstructed buildings, which contain genuine relics from their past.
