St Cecilia's Historic Mansion - 19 October, 2013
Saint Cecilia's Edwardian Mansion was built by Bishop John Norton, the first Australian born Bishop. Built out of hand-hewn sandstone, fitted with large lead light windows and with Huon pine used throughout, it certainly is a striking Hotel. They do murder mystery nights there, and ghostly sleepovers through Adelaide's Haunted Horizons. We were lucky enough to have Ashley Hall from The Paranormal Guide with us who arranged for our stay and our investigation.
It was a fantastic night, with activity such as the bishop's cross, which was hanging on a hat stand, just decided to move itself. I saw movement in my peripheral all night. Drops of water appeared out of nowhere and splashed on peoples faces, almost as if they were being baptised or anointed. And a few of our team also believe they connected with Bishop Norton.
