You are invited to an evening of mystery and intrigue!
Step into the living time capsule of Roughley House, a family home for over five generations, with each generation leaving their own mark.
Discover the entertainment of a bygone era... An era of Victorian spiritualism and belief.
The Victorian period was a time of deep and sustained religious revival. It was a golden age of belief in supernatural forces and energies, ghost stories, weird transmissions and spooky phenomena.
Families all across the globe would experiment with different parlour games, to try and connect with the 'other world'.
APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours has access to this colonial gem during times that it is not normally accessible to the public.
We will take you into the parlour room where Mrs Roughley entertains her guests, into the main bedroom where the spirit of a child is said to linger, wanting to hold guests hands, and upstairs where people have been grabbed on the legs, had their hair pulled, heard children's voices playing, and been overcome to the point of having difficulty breathing.
This very haunted building - which is fast becoming a must do location for all avid ghost hunters - has given some very impressive phenomena to date. People have had rocks thrown at them, they have been overcome and said things which led us to believe they were channelling past inhabitants, and objects have been moved within our hearing.
So join us for an incredible night as we face our fears and enter The Pines - as we try and communicate with the Spirits within this very atmospheric, haunted building.
