OLD TAILEM TOWN INVESTIGATION
On Saturday 24 January, Peet was fortunate enough to spend four hours investigating this amazing pioneering village. We heard various noises in buildings, but no real activity on our equipment. This is very rare, as Old Tailem Town is normally drowning in paranormal phenomena.
The following information is from the Old Tailem Town's website:
"First established in 1982, Old Tailem Town is now Australia's largest pioneer village, visited by tourists all over the world!
Many of the buildings were transported in one piece from their original locations, while others were taken apart plank by plank and rebuilt in Old Tailem Town. Most of the buildings are over one hundred years old and are the same in appearance as they were when they were first built. They are all furnished with original artifacts as if they were being lived in a century ago. Shops are stocked with original items, packets and hardware. The emporium is over one hundred and twenty feet long and has four different departments with flying fox, money exchanges and the picture theatre is one hundred years old and houses sixty-five year old working projectors and is fully functional as a theatre with seventy seats. There is a collection of antique speed-boats, dating from 1905, including the worlds first hydroplane, made by Thorney Croft and his first four cylinder engine, known as 'experimental one'. "
Thank you to Adelaide's Haunted Horizons Ghost tours for allowing me to investigate :)
